Today we have launched the New and Improved Giant Ideas main website!! Lots of work remains to be done, but we felt it was far enough along to launch. The new website is built upon a completely new foundation that allows us to update it more easily and more often, as well as offering expanded content and services - which we will be adding in the weeks and months to come. There are many exciting projects in various stages waiting to be added, including a Giant Store which will feature our own line of Giant T-Shirts and other items. It is very exciting and we look forward to your feedback about the new site.

What made you decide to go with such a wide resolution? Is your web department doing all of their websites that wide now? Have you found that most of your clients are using browsers set to higher than 1024x768 or are you not concerned with people having to scroll to the right since they may not have to scroll down?
Personally, I'm still concerned that I need to cater to 800x600 for certain audiences, even though they are such a small majority, much less going larger than 1024 wide.
I'd really be interested in knowing what your agency's opinion is of this.
Also, the news section content goes behind the footer on pages other than the first one.
